One factor to consider these days when flying in Y. You can buy access to Economy Comfort, which does give you extra leg room. So that can be a deciding factor.

My wife and I just came back from HKG in C on AF, and we were not impressed by the service level. Also, with the change in catering on AF, crepes are no longer a breakfast option in my recent experience.
