I really didn't think I'd be making a post like this, but I have to give a major thumbs up to delta.com. I had a flight JNB-ATL-DTW that was NW-coded DL-operated, and JNB-ATL was running significantly delayed such that I would miss my ATL-DTW connection. I had a V fare that I had upgraded to business class using a PU465. Delta.com actually let me rebook onto AF JNB-CDG-DTW, in business class, and it actually worked and re-ticketed properly online after I selected the new itinerary. I'm amazed that it actually handled a flight that had been upgraded with a PU465, and I'm also amazed that it offered Air France flights as an alternative.

Gotta say it, major thumbs up here. That was a very pleasant surprise.

(Less pleasant was the fact that the baggage handling at DTW and lack of attention to priority bag tags led me to wait an hour for my bag and almost miss my DTW-SFO flight, but that's another story.)
