A major supporter of the Senate Bill 711, Rep. Dante Santoni, D-Berks, said it will build on the jobs and tax revenue already provided by a slot machine law approved in 2004. He said slots have provided more than 8,600 jobs at nine casinos (so far) around the state and expected that each casino that adds table games will add another 800 or more jobs.


So why would anybody from Phila., or NYC for that matter, bother with AC when (presumably) there will be full-service casiinos in Phila.?

Too bad New Jersey officials neglected to improve conditions in AC (outside the immediate vicinity of the casinos) as promised.
