Ok, I am probably just getting giddy and carried away, but as I was going through the Iberia scheduled, I saw they also fly to Chile, and it's possible to get to Easter Island on a partner award

The aadvantage rules say you have to go via Papeete (ppt I think), and I can't find a routing from UK that goes through there. Would it be enough just to avoid USA, i.e. UK - Canada - Chile - Easter Island? Or do you have to go through Papeete?
