You should be fine, because Amex won't cancel your account if have a £0 balance when you move and you keep it at £0 until you come back. The card is therefore kept open. (This was my experience, YMMV).
I don't think that I stopped spending on the card soon enough, so although there is no balance on the card this month, I am expecting miles to hit the BAEC account once my account is in Europe. Oops.
I understand the BA Amex will be cancelled - how do I get it back when I return to the UK? Anything else I should look out for?
