That surprises me, I can't remember the last time I _didn't_ see a concierge at LHR. They're the best ones in the company in my experience. I've found they're generally pretty visible at YVR too.
That's my experience at LHR too. There is almost always one at the Executive First check-in counter. At YVR, there is always one at the international MLL. If not, the receptionist will page one for you and the CS will arrive within minutes.
