Forgive my ignorance, but what exchange rate do you get for United to Diners transfers? Im way too long on UA miles and would be more than willing to transfer a chunk of those miles to my BA account.</font>
10000 United or American miles convert to 10000 diners club (DC) points. However 2 DC points = 1 miles on several airlines. So normally you would loose 50% of the miles transferred from united/american into diners. However during the 1-1 British Airways promotion (which usually runs from June 1st to Aug 31st), 1 DC point = 1 BA mile. So united/american miles can be transferred to BA 1-1 during this period with out any mileage loss. However diners impose a fee of $0.95 or 195 dc points for every 2000 points converted to miles.
