  • The 12-month rolling calendar is used when reaching a higher elite level, which seems to be your case. Once you reach a specific elite level and like to maintain this level you need to have the appropriate number of nights within one calendar year.
  • Upon request, MR sometimes either extend your status or offers a fast track promotion to reinstate your Platinum status.
  • For 2009 MR offered a Buy Back Your Marriott Rewards Elite Status option for 40/25/7.5K MR points (Platinum/Gold/Silver). It might be possible that a similar offer will be announced.
