Just booked my first 1st class return from ORD-LHR on BA for myself and my 5 year old son. Used miles from the chase promotion so really didn't cost me anything except from the taxes. I've read articles about BA doing away with 1st but wanted peoples opinions on what i can expect and the level of service. I have flown Business on UA a number of times to LHR but really wanted to splurge with the extra miles and go first on BA.

Am i making a mistake. Both planes are 777.

Any views and thought i would really appreciate it.
