CORRECTION!!!

I checked with my sister-in-law last night; she works in Santa Fe and she told me I was mistaken - there is no Metro service to Santa Fe yet. She says there are buses that run between the Santa Fe airport terminal / Commercio Santa Fe (mega-shopping mall) and the Tacubaya Metro Station, allow 45 minutes for that ride.

So I'd say you're back to using Mexico City's airport.
