I always try to fly Garuda when in Indonesia - safe, punctual and all the other frills that one normally enjoys.

Flew Lionair once from Manado to Jakarta, on one of their new 739s, and while I dreaded it, I still seem to be alive and all that I can remember from the flight was that it was chock-a-block and the landing was a bit bumpy.

Would seriously pay more than twice to fly Garuda though, if they flew the same route at a convenient time for me.
