That may be true in the US. I once asked my corporate TA about this, and if they still would want me as a customer if I did that sort of thinks and was told in no uncertainty terms that yes, I could and they would not care at all. So I don't believe AC does that.

Bottom line: if you need to sue them to recover cash, good luck. If they need to go after you to recover pennies, you are safe.

This said, I agree with other posters that for $25 I would not bother.

Plus, be charitable, they are in survival mode and they do need our cash.
