On a totally unrelated matter, given one can get BA Miles from shopping at Tesco, do they do decent non-refrigerated ready-made meals? I normally shop for food at Waitrose when I am in London (to bring back home), but if they have a decent range of non-refrigerated ready-made meals, I'll catch a taxi from to the nearest large Tesco.
I would stick with Waitrose. I permit Tesco to sell me dry goods and booze (preferably at a distance), but the actual food tends to be pretty dreadful. There is a huge Tesco in Slough that sells proper Indian meals (not Tesco-branded Anglicized versions), but in general I would avoid....
