Good thing the guy wasn't arrested in the UK. They take their DNA and refuse to dispose of them even if the person turns out to be innocent, don't they?

Anyway, I would rather not fly out of Bratislava if they are using passenger bags for a trial. Why couldn't they use decoy passenger bags so that they don't inconvenience anyone if the trial fails?

Going back to the explosives sniffer dogs, I'm all for it. I find dogs much nicer than most security screening personnel anyway - dogs don't tend to scream at people to take their shoes off. I bet humans would have 1 in 8 failure rate for detecting nasty things, so 1 in 8 failure by dogs doesn't put me off.
