KL/FB Booking System Error
Hi all,
I just booked a trip on klm.com (UK) and, as usual, when it came to entering my "Personal Details", I just logged on to my FB account to fill in the data automatically.
This time, however, when I was a few screens further into the process, the system informed me that "unfortunately, Flying Blue miles cannot be credited to your account for this itinerary because the name on your ticket does not match that in you FB account!" And it's a lot of miles involved, too (Z-class booking: 11,000 level miles, ~17,000 award miles).
When I received my e-ticket by email, the passenger name shown is the same as ever: HENRY DR III (forename title surname)!
So, should I be concerned about this? Has anyone else had this problem with the new KLM booking system?
Also, I have noticed that the new MMB doesn't show the amount of miles you'll be getting - but the previous version did (and was generally accurate).
