in my experience the asians destination ports for CX have all good lounges while european destinations, with perhaps the exception of LHR/LGW have very utilitarian ones.
Speaking about the Wing/Pier one thing that I do not understand is the contract that allows LX elites access to the lounges. I think CX would do better to restrict access to OW elites only and send LX to the various * lounges in HKG.
