On Saturday 2 Jan I travelled from MAN to AHM and worried if the weather would cause any problems in crossing the Pennines to catch my flight. I was surprised when, instead of the usual Volvo V70, the car that arrived was a Toyota Avensis. Apparently Trident have lost the contract so a new company is now operating. They have kept on the old drivers but have new cars on order. I hope the service stays at the same level. On this occasion we were delayed on the way to the airport and again at the airport but I made the connection in Dubai. I hope the weather improves before I go back.
