Couple more questions:

Since the new Y seat doesn't recline, do you still need to adjust your seat to upright position during take off and landing?

No, you do not need to!!It is not enforced. Crew only check your seat belt.

If the reclining is done by sliding the seat cushion forward, does it decrease the leg room?

No, it doesn not! For some people it may feel like to. But in the real term, compare with other airlines' decline seat. The legroom provide the same comfort the other airlines' ol;d seats would offer.

Do you sleep better or worst with the new Y seat?

I sleep much better. Because I would not worry other people go through me to the washing room nor the guy in front push his seats all the way back to restrict me. I feel feel and less stress.

Do you think the new Y seat is the worst design ever in airlines industries?

No! It is the most innovative and the best design ever for long haul economy travel. You could not ask for better!
