CX have made some small adjustments to the design since it was first rolled out.

I am a fan and pretty much say the opposite to everything that Zhorman has said. It was the first time I was able to comfortably sleep on a plane, when the new seats came in. I am just under 6ft and find the seat fine - although I do especially enjoythe fact that the seat infront does not lean back into me.

Another advantage of the seat not going back into anothers space is that it is bumped less in the night, so you are less likely to be woken up.

As already said, the legroom is fine - I can stretch my legs out when the seat is upright - something that is not as easy with the old seats. When "reclined" my knees go closer to the seat infront.

And, I have written my positive comments on the seats on the customer survey forms I have filled out. Yes, and I have even chosen to fly on CX as opposed to SG because the prices were similar (discount Y, no miles), but I enjoyed the seat in CX (along with the service) so much.

But, granted, it has generated some polarising opinions. My advice to anyone is to try it once. If you don't like it fine, but don't believe either side until you have tried it once (or twice) yourself.
