Yes, it's terrible for longhaul, avoid it!

Couple more questions:
Since the new Y seat doesn't recline, do you still need to adjust your seat to upright position during take off and landing?
Yes

If the reclining is done by sliding the seat cushion forward, does it decrease the leg room?
Yes

Do you sleep better or worst with the new Y seat?
It's very very very difficult to sit still, let alone falling alseep

Do you think the new Y seat is the worst design ever in airlines industries?
Even in the take-off/landing position the seat is less comfortable than the conventional design in the same upright position. This is a big mistake for CX, as with the J product
