I was on the verge of cancelling - but think I will stick with DC for one more year - they offered me a paltry retention bonus and were inflexible on the amount. I haven't been renting cars very often anymore (reason 1 for the card) and used an airport lounge once in the past year. Since the "retention" was at least as much as the amount of extra points it would take me to get my points into miles (but not really much more), I suppose I haven't been harmed yet. But this is Citibank. Blaming this on 9/11 is chickenpoopoodoodookaka.

I, for one, can deal with increased fees but not the "nickel and diming" further chickenpoopoodoodookaka that DC has implemented, such as increase the fee but none of these redemption charges. I bet the primary rental insurance is next. If that goes, sayonara DC.
