In all cases, you can check the fare rules before you buy by clicking on Fare rules. Often, they will be in X, U or Z if on BA, so no miles or TPs there. I have just made dummy bookings for LHR-JFK in February in G class (25% TPs and BA Miles) and LHR-EDI in February on O class (25% TPs and BA Miles). Caveat: I haven't flown BA on such bookings so don't know from experience whether the miles and TPs actually turn up.

We used Airmiles to fly CO to EWR, ensuring credit to and extension to validity of our Flying Blue miles. That was before they moved to *A, but I'm sure the same would apply to *A accounts. We have also used LX LCY-ZRH in E with *A credit (sadly not BD but Miles & Less, but credit anyway).

As ever with Airmiles, YMMV.

Thanks, good info here. Im surprised that there has not been much said about this here. I know its only 25% of miles/TP's and thats only if the flight even is eligible -however it is something for free, and i am sure there are many whom do not know about it.

As for *alliance -what do you mean about no credit to BD? Why do you think would this not work but Miles and Less would?

Thanks again
