7 days. The ballot is due to start mid-January, so when you allow up to four weeks for the ballot process (trips like LHR-SYD are quite long for CC so they need to be given time to receive papers and vote) and seven days notice, your outbound flight clearly won't be affected.
In any event, I would put money on a strike not happening.
