AC: Does "Cabin Y" == Booking Class "Y" ??

I flew on AC back in November/December, and I'm having trouble getting United to honor my miles/EQM's.

I still have my original BP's -- they say "Cabin Y". Is this the same as "Booking Class Y" ?? I was a part of a group ticket, booked through a travel agent, so I don't have any of the original documentation.

I tried the online "retro-credit" option through United's website, but UA sent me a letter in the mail stating:

"Denial Reason: Partner records indicate the booking class for the flight is not eligible for credit."

Is there any way to find out what booking class I was in, if my BP's don't show the info?

Thanks for your help!
