Howdy Folks.I too had a recent LX flight MAN-ZRH flight where i was the only person in Biz.It IS strangely embarrasing as people file past you during boarding towards cattle class,and they are probably thinking" the seats are the bloody same!!".This is of course true,but the service seems to have greatly improved lately.During a 30 minute delay to pushback i was offered a drink and addressed by name.After takeoff i had the first 4 rows of the A319 to myself with a reasonable hot meal,a few glasses of Swiss white wine and a box of Sprungli chocs left beside me to pick from at leisure!!.Nodded off and woke up to find a pillow had been placed on the seat beside me.All this confirmed my feeling that SWISS is the best airline in Europe.
I've been the only person in Biz from BHX-ZRH or ZRH-BHX occasionally, most recently on the 30th. Sadly, this means the same awful seat on the Fokker 100, a small cold meal, no sign of any Sprungli chocs and a crew that disappears immediately into economy and aren't seen again for about 20-30 minutes. All this confirms to me is that Helvetic really aren't a match for a proper SWISS flight.
