Have to agree 100% about the Sakura lounge in AMS. Came trough AMS on my way back to PVG on Sunday. My wife had warned me about this particular lounge, but man... I didn't think it was this bad! Don't even think about the word food when you enter this lounge, because you won't find any there - expect if you don't consider chips and some nuts as food... And forget about finding some comfy chairs to sit and relax in.

I think I spent like a total of 30 minutes in there.

I wanted to try AMS this time since I haven't been that impressed by the FRA lounge the previous times I have come trough there. But boy, I'll take the FRA lounge anytime in the week before that dreadful Sakura lounge in AMS - but I guess the best bet, when traveling to and from the EU, is to stay with the LHR connection.
