There are a lotta aggressive rip-off scumbags driving taxis and not all are in LV. I make it a rule NEVER to tip if the person tries to rip me off (or if they request a tip in cash) and I also always report the guy to the local taxi commission via phone ASAP. A nice hint is always pay by credit card.
