mobile.flyertalk.com would take you to the WiForums interface, which seems to be intended more for non-smartphones with a very basic WAP or basic HTML browser.
m.flyertalk.com runs directly on FT's vBulletin servers but applies an iPhone-friendly skin. They're two different products.
Wonder if they've taken the mobile skin offline to fix some of its major issues...
