Tipping in Vegas has gotten "out of hand", if one followed the suggested tipping amounts listed in the various Vegas publications, one could easily spend over $100 in tips, just for
nominal services: bell desks, taxis, doormen, bell boys, etc. (not including restaurants).
How one did on a given trip should not affect how much they leave in tips. From the tipping guides, taxis and restaurants are generally 15% (for restaurants, doubling the sales tax is a simpler arithmetic computation than computing 0.15 x the check amount
