Hi,

Has anyone tried checking in fragile items through checked or special baggage with the recent travel restrictions? Is there anything special I need to do?

I am flying from YYZ to EWR (Newark) and plan on picking up a juice extractor (and perhaps a bottle of whiskey) from my friend in NYC. The juice extractor will be packed its styrofoam lined cardboard box.

Normally, I'd carry fragile, non-liquid goods through security and carefully pack the bottle of liquor in my check baggage.

Has anyone have any experience with this? I don't want to know that I've wasted money when I return home with it broken.
