This is very true. I realize it is my fault, and I can't get mad at Amtrak or any of the other programs for that matter, but it is still very frustrating.

I wonder if it's even worth calling Amtrak/Carlson (who runs their program) to see if they can do anything for me. Otherwise it looks like I'll have to try and take a train from Chicago to Paris.
