when i try to look up my intinerary on United, there is no record of this itinerary as it is not recognizing the eticket number, or the booking code, and when i try to search for it using my FF number, nothing shows up.

i guess ill just have to double check they put my itinerary in at checkin
There are plenty of dumb IT depts out there... including those of a few of the top flight airlines. Mind you, even after booking online with TK, the most one can do is view one's itinerary - no changes can be made to seating or dates or whatever.

As to verifying your seat selections, after you've called TK to make those selections, why don,t you call them the next day or day after and ask them to read back the seat selections?
