Turkish airlines and travel agents
Hi, it seems i have made the mistake of using a travel agent to purchase a ticket on TK. i say its a mistake as i am unable to access my itinerary on the website, the most im able to do is view my e ticket.
i am also unable to choose my seats prior to 1 week, as i need to purchase the ticket on the tk website to do this.
when i do call TK 1 week prior to the flight to book my seats, i am expected to trust that they have picked the seats ive asked for, with no way to verify this has been done afterwards.
because i have no access to my itinerary, i also have to take their word that my FF number is in their system.
it seems kind of odd, that in this day and age, TK is still conducting its business like this, surely their IT department cannot be this dumb.
when i try to look up my intinerary on United, there is no record of this itinerary as it is not recognizing the eticket number, or the booking code, and when i try to search for it using my FF number, nothing shows up.
i guess ill just have to double check they put my itinerary in at checkin
