Diamond or not is not related, at one point I was a diamond as well. Water bottles was given at checkin for HI, HGI, and HS, never have in room unless I choose the My Way benefit to snack/water/breakfast.

They are not going to just put bottles of water in room what if a guest doesn't show up, and then they need to sell a room thru walkin, as those HI, HGI, and HS never offer free bottle water for general guest.
