Food Courier
I have read this thread with amazing interest and delight, as well as some sorrow and shock relating to how the poor cabin crew are fed and watered (or not as the case appears - which is truly shocking).
I am a very regular short haul ex LHR to and from AMS, soon to be moving to BA due to the demise of my route on another UK carrier (doesn't take much working out which one).
I too am a bear (of little brain? Just like the famous one who lives in hundred acre wood) according to my better half - I think it has something to do with the shape of my tummy!
I am also a well known food courier to Brits abroad in NL who crave marmite, salt and vinegar and cheese and onion crisps as well as black treacle, ribs of beef (yes, really) and christmas puddings and cadburys chocolate, oh, and not forgetting Redcurrant Jelly for a Belgian in NL as well as crumpets!
If anyone NL side would like something brought across (it's much easier if it's not a liquid of course) then I am more than willing to give it a go. I do appreciate how difficult it is to live without ones home country bits and pieces.
My own claim to fame was to vow to love some F cabin crew forever having fed and watered this particulary grateful bear nearly all the way across the Atlantic in 2009 - I was almost ashamed of myself, but not quite, and am now devoted to that cabin crew for keeping this bear really really happy TATL.
Oh yes, and I love Honey as well.
Best wishes.
