I never realised. Good grief... even English charters used to get fed on one of the sectors, even on a relatively short flight (but I am talking about over 10 years ago). Is this a recent development, or has it been this way at BA for a long time?

So if you don't bring your own food on SH, except for Band 4, you don't get to eat at all? I can understand it (sort of) if you are doing just LHR-CDG-LHR but any duty beyond about 5 hours, I think all the crew should be fed.

How about pilots? Do they get fed on all flights or also only on Band 4?

P.S. TWO meals on Band 4 for pilots? Are they trying to make them, um, a bit plump (assuming you are talking about two meals per sector)?
