I agree. The euros with which I returned from Germany I am keeping for my next trip to Europe. It's always nice to arrive with some cash on hand.

Slightly OT, but why would one have so much cash in Euro left at the end of a trip? Seems somewhat strange to me.
€6,000 in cash??? Why would anyone carry around that much in cash? And that was what was left? Glad to see I wasn't the only one a bit surprised by that.
