I have a load of BA miles an Amex Partner voucher that I need to redeem before March 2010...

Whenever I redeem miles or points for different reward schemes, one of the things I like to try to do is redeem for an award that reflects that highest possible quantity of Cold Hard Cash... I will often fly to places that I wouldn't normally consider for a holiday, simply in order to seize the opportunity to go there, when under normal circumstances I certainly wouldn't splash out and spend money to get there. I assume this is not uncommon behavior amongst Flyertalkers!

I have an Amex Partner voucher which gives me 2x benefit, and over 100K at the moment as well as an opportunity to top them up by transfering Starpoints... I was wondering what the MOST EXPENSIVE flights are, from London on BA metal???

I'm inclined redeem for WT+ or Club World, since I don't think 3x miles redemption for first reflects particularly good value for miles; not that I've ever had the opportunity to fly First on BA! Also; with any luck I should be BA Gold by March, so there's always that slim posability that I'll get an OpUp. At the moment, I'l guessing that LHR-SYD-LHR is probably one of of the best redemption options when calculated on the basis of £/BAmile...

But what other options are there? A route with a free stop-off somewhere might be nice (two holidays for the price of one!). Perhaps South America would be a good option? Has anyone got any *really* clever ideas for multi-leg routes?
