I would 100% agree with Mrs Stu.
The Ic is very nice, but a bit out of town, needing a taxi to see anything other than the hotel. At certain times it can be difficult to get a cab. Eating in the hotel is very high quality and expensive. It has a great restaurant, The Fishmarket, which has no prices on the menu....
The CP is right in town, everything you could need is close to hand or a 5 DHS taxi away.If you miss a taxi , there is another one along in 5 seconds. The service in the lounge is the best I have ever had and very generous with the night caps. The breakfast is delicious and the atmosphere very chilled for a good start to the day.The underground pub, Heroes, fills up with ex-pats, arriving for watering and pub grub.
The pool is on the roof and sits a packed 20 persons! You couldn't spend the day up there but good for a dip.
