According to my studies, the best $ per mile ratio is around $0.15USD/mile or about $0.23CAD/mile. However, award bookings must suit the needs of each individual traveller, so it is not necessary to go for the highest dollar per mile value. Just out of curiosity, has anyone being able to derive an allowable award itineary with any major carrier(s), which beats the ratio of $0.15USD/mile or $0.23CAD/mile?

I'll be more than happy to share my findings on the $/mile ratios from above if anyone is interested.
