I absolutely hate to be sitting next to someone coughing and sneezing.
I'm think about wearing a one of those two for three bucks respirator - cheapie dust mask - for the protection of those around me.
While some may think I'm weird, I'm thinking most will appreciate my doing so.
what do you think?
Thank you for thinking of others.
However, if it is possible to postpone your flight until you are over your cold, I think you should do that.
I once had to fly with a heavy cold (flying home after catching a cold while vacationing in Fiji). With a blocked nose and being unable to equalise the pressure in my ears, I was in agony with earache. I was deaf for 2 days on my return home. I will now try to never fly when have a cold, but I also routinely carry nasal congestant drops as part of my 3-1-1 liquids.
