Bravo to the OP for being considerate enough to ask. You don't know about the OP's personal circumstances - maybe his job or a major portion of his/her livelihood depends on making these trips.
OP: I commend you for at least being considerate enough to think of those around you - very few people these days do.
I don't recommend wearing a dust mask; it just looks weird and will become very uncomfortable, especially across your nose.
Go to a pharmacy/medical supply company and buy a special mask for this purpose. There are bound to be plenty. Take some anti-histamines before you fly if you can to at least clear you up a little bit.
