I was in the MUC SEN lounge on 4th Jan last year for a quick shower and I did notice there was no light in the SEN Cafe. When I read that the SEN Cafe was closed on FT I connected it with what I saw. Does it make it information or knowledge? Or does anyone care?

Hm, you got me wrong! What you refer to is knowledge by induction, a way of understanding (and acquiring knowledge) beyond the range of immediate experience, by drawing inferences
(if by any chance this is the first time you hear about such a thing, Bertrand Russell is a good starting point (and, pretty much, ending too)).
In my previous post I was merely referring to what you actually know (knowledge) as opposed to simply having a full and easy-to-use directory and hence the ability of promptly accessing this specific piece of knowledge. E.g., you may not be in a position to answer "how many status levels are there within M&L" (
knowledge) but you have the
information that allows you to point to the "Miles and More Guide" thread that actually answers the question and gives you "knowledge" (or a "proxy" to knowledge). Something like a specialized librarian!
