The service is probably one of the worst of any airline. I agree the fleet is nice and the conveniences on board are as well, but they really need lessons in customer service.
I flew AC weekly for three months this past spring, JFK-YVR, and also LGA to YUL, YYZ, and YOW.
Service was perfectly fine, at least on par with what what can expect today from U.S. carriers.
