I checked out from a Hyatt in Australia and when I tried to pay with certs the exchange rate I was offered was appr 1 USD=0.97 AUD - almost 15% worse that the market rate. I ended up paying with a credit card.
I was in a hurry so perhaps there was a misunderstanding (the FD agent didn't seem to be familiar with GC) but I suggest making sure the rate is not inflated. I'll try again at another Australian Hyatt soon.
