There is nothing at all wrong with a dualband GSM worldphone. Everywhere in the world you'll find the 2 frequencies supported by 900 and 1800.
Which countries could you not get it working?
Two it didn't work at all were Panama and Argentina, Brazil was intermittent (you needed to punch in a code to dial the US but often was just not even a signal).
