Because it is still holiday travel technically, allow yourself a bit of extra time at the airport. I flew out on the 30th and security lines were long and a bit slow but mostly because of the travelers in the lines, not because of anything different. A LOT of people who don't fly often and the guy behind me literally had not been on a plane since BEFORE 9/11.
So mostly you need to allow for inexperience than any extra measures in place.
