Some larger Tesco stores have a recycling point, where one can dispose of bottles/plastic/cans etc. It is a big machine which sorts the recycled items.

You swipe your clubcard to begin. They are currently offering 1 point per 2 aluminium cans recycled.

Unfortunately no points for glass bottles as we discovered yesterday
