Okay, before I lose it with a rant, pray tell why I need to "get a grip" for wanting to recline my seat, which, incidentally, reclines.
When you buy a hotel room, you have the right to slam the door in the middle of the night (the door will slam and it's your room).
You also have the right to talk loudly and play loud music and television. Your room TV has a volume control just as your seat has a recline function, and it's your right to use both.
If people don't like loud music and slamming doors, then it is up to them to buy earplugs, just as those who don't like recliners can buy a bulkhead seat.
