I went from regular member (2 segments, couple thousand miles) to Chairman's Preferred in about 2 minutes. Yes it reflects immediately. I wonder if I'll get welcome packet similar to my UA 1K kit? Perhaps some drink chits? I'm not all that excited to have "Chairman's" by my name when it figuratively refers to Douglas Parker, but it will get me the basic comfort I'm looking for when forced to fly US routes without competing carriers. I also look forward to trying the intl Envoy class, however I don't expect it to be much better than the existing lay-flats on UA & AA transcon routes.
